Liam Neeson has remained one of Hollywood’s most enduring leading men for decades. Born on June 7, 1952, in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, the actor began his career on stage before steadily building a résumé across film and television throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. His breakthrough came in 1993 when he portrayed Oskar Schindler in Steven Spielberg‘s acclaimed drama Schindler’s List, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and establishing himself as a major star.

In the years that followed, Neeson showcased his versatility with roles in films such as Michael Collins, Love Actually, Batman Begins, and the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
