From child actor to Emmy winner, Storm Reid has built an impressive career. Take a look back at her transformation over the years.
Born on July 1, 2003, Storm Reid is an Emmy-winning actress and producer who has become one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars. She made her film debut in the Oscar-winning drama 12 Years a Slave before landing her breakout role as Meg Murry in A Wrinkle in Time. Since then, Reid has appeared in acclaimed projects including When They See Us, Euphoria, The Invisible Man, The Suicide Squad, Missing and The Nun II.
Storm earned widespread acclaim for portraying Riley Abel in HBO’s The Last of Us, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She has worked alongside stars including Oprah Winfrey, Ava DuVernay, Reese Witherspoon, Zendaya, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, while also expanding her career as a producer through her company, A Seed & Wings Productions.
Outside of acting, Storm is passionate about advocating for greater representation in Hollywood and supporting social justice initiatives. She has also balanced her flourishing career with her studies at the University of Southern California, where she majored in dramatic arts and minored in African American studies.
