The show helped launch the careers of stars like\u00a0<strong>Rachel Bilson, Mischa Barton, Adam Brody<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Ben McKenzie<\/strong>, while also featuring longtime familiar faces like\u00a0<strong>Melinda Clarke, Tate Donovan<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Peter Gallagher<\/strong>. Even though the show <em>started <\/em>20 years ago, it&#8217;s still buzzed-about to this day. Of course, the stars of the show have changed quite a bit since the series aired.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\">Mischa was just a teenager when\u00a0<em>The O.C.<\/em> was on. As the show aired, and afterward, she publicly went through some troubled years, but has come out on the other side. She <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/2019\/05\/23\/mischa-barton-the-oc-death-marissa-needed-to-die-burnout\/\"  >has grown into<\/a> a much healthier woman. It was Adam who underwent the biggest physical transformation, though, as he changed from a nerdy teenager to a hunky man. Oh, and of course, fans love that Adam married one of the biggest stars from\u00a0<em>another<\/em> teen drama of\u00a0<em>The O.C.<\/em> era &#8212;\u00a0<strong>Leighton Meester<\/strong> from\u00a0<em>Gossip Girl<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\">Like Mischa and Adam, Rachel has also grown up from a sweet-looking teenager to a drop-dead gorgeous woman. After\u00a0<em>The O.C.<\/em>, she starred on\u00a0<em>Hart of Dixie<\/em>, and brought the same charm and charisma to the show that she did on\u00a0<em>The O.C.<\/em>.
