Ice Cube\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>(birth name O’Shea Jackson) is one of the most iconic rappers of all time. The 57-year-old star<\/a> first catapulted into the spotlight alongside Eazy-E<\/strong> and Dr. Dre <\/strong><\/a>in the group N.W.A after they released their legendary 1998 album Straight Outta Compton. <\/em>He then enjoyed a successful solo career as well, dropping hits like 1992’s \u201cIt Was A Good Day\u201d and 1993’s \u201cYou Know How We Do It\u201d, and seeing five platinum albums and one platinum EP. In addition, he’s had an impressive film career that only keeps on giving. Some of Ice Cube’s biggest movies include\u00a0Boyz n the Hood<\/em>, Friday<\/em>, Barbershop<\/em>, 21 Jump Street<\/em> and Ride Along<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Throughout his career highlights, Ice Cube has had his wife Kim Woodruff<\/strong><\/a> by his side. The couple tied the knot in 1992 and have welcomed four kids<\/a> since: O\u2019Shea<\/strong>, Darrell<\/strong>, Kareema<\/strong>,\u00a0and Shareef<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

O’Shea Jackson, Jr.<\/h2>\n

O’Shea Jackson, Jr.<\/strong> <\/a>is the eldest son of Kim and Ice Cube. He was born in 1991, the year before his parents officially tied the knot. O’Shea followed his father’s footsteps and works as an actor<\/a> and rapper and performs under the name OMG. His most notable acting roles came in 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em> <\/a>mini-series, 2019’s Just Mercy<\/em>, and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.\u00a0<\/em>He also portrayed his father in the\u00a02015 NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m very proud,\u201d Cube said in a 2015 interview with Good Morning America<\/em><\/a>, speaking of his eldest. \u201cYou\u2019re just happy when your kids step up, and I\u2019m so proud of him.\u201d<\/p>\n

O’Shea made Ice Cube and Kim grandparents when his daughter was born in 2017. In 2019, O’Shea told Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong><\/a> about the parenting advice Ice Cube imparted to him. “His advice is always you know just to always tell the truth,” he revealed<\/a> while on her talk show. He added that his second piece of advice was to “always plan out your naps,” as sleep can be hard to come by when you’ve got a little one on your hands.<\/p>\n

Darrell Jackson<\/h2>\n

Darrell Jackson<\/strong> <\/a>is the second child of Kim and Ice Cube and was born in 1992, the same year his parents got married. Like his famous father and big brother, Darrell is a rapper and performs under the moniker Doughboy. Darrell teamed up with Ice Cube and O’Shea for the song “Ya’ll Know How I Am”<\/a>, which was released in 2010. According to his Instagram<\/a>, he works at Lench Mob Records, a sublabel of Universal Music Group founded by Ice Cube.<\/p>\n
