Here&#8217;s everything we know so far about the third &#8216;Creed&#8217; film.<\/h3>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-1\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-2\">In order to move forward, you have to face your past. <em>Creed III<\/em> is the third film in the <em>Creed<\/em> franchise, with <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/tag\/michael-b-jordan\/\"  ><strong>Michael B. Jordan<\/strong><\/a> leading the way in front of and behind the camera. Ahead of the movie&#8217;s release, <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/2023\/02\/12\/creed-3-super-bowl-trailer-video\/\"  >a new trailer<\/a> was revealed during the Super Bowl. Donnie has to battle Damian, played by <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/who-is-jonathan-majors-4580376\/\"  ><strong>Jonathan Majors<\/strong><\/a>, in the ring, but he&#8217;s got to be careful not to lose everything in the process.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\">The\u00a0<em>Creed <\/em>sports drama\u00a0films are a spinoff of the popular\u00a0<em>Rocky\u00a0<\/em>franchise, which starred <strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/celeb\/sylvester-stallone\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  >Sylvester Stallone<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as boxing legend <strong>Rocky Balboa<\/strong>. Michael plays Adonis &#8220;Donnie&#8221; Creed, the son of Apollo Creed. The first <em>Creed<\/em> film was released in 2015, and the sequel <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/pics\/creed-2-photos-michael-b-jordan-pictures\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  ><em>Creed II<\/em><\/a>\u00a0came out in 2018. Jonathan&#8217;s character, Damian, grew up with Donnie but has spent most of his life in prison. Now he wants everything Donnie has. &#8220;I&#8217;m coming for everything,&#8221; Damian tells Donnie.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\"><em>Creed III<\/em> also dropped a new trailer during the 2023 Super Bowl on February 12. Amidst the action, Bianca tells Donnie, &#8220;Don&#8217;t let him destroy everything you&#8217;ve built.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Where &amp; When To Watch<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-7\"><em>Creed III\u00a0<\/em>will be released in theaters on March 3, 2023. The original release date was November 23, 2022.\u00a0 It was announced in July 2022 that <em>Creed III<\/em> would be pushed to its March release date.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-8\">Filming took place in Atlanta, Georgia, from January to April 2022. The movie will be released in the United States by United Artists Releasing, which released recent films such as <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/no-time-to-die-release-date-4365408\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  ><em>No Time To Die<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/2021\/07\/29\/house-of-gucci-trailer-lady-gaga-jared-leto-video\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  ><em>House of Gucci<\/em><\/a>, and\u00a0<em>Licorice Pizza<\/em>. Jordan<\/strong> as Adonis &#8220;Donnie&#8221; Creed. Michael is also making his feature directorial debut with the film. His character is the illegitimate son of the late boxing world champion Apollo Creed, who was a rival of Rocky Balboa&#8217;s. He trains under Rocky in the first two films.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/pics\/tessa-thompson-photos\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  >Tessa Thompson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as Bianca Taylor. Bianca is Donnie&#8217;s fianc\u00e9e and an aspiring musician. She wears hearing aids due to hearing loss. In\u00a0<em>Creed II<\/em>, Bianca gets a music recording contract, but then discovers she&#8217;s pregnant. She gives birth to a baby girl named Amara who is born deaf.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/celeb\/phylicia-rashad\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  >Phylicia Rashad<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as Mary Anne Creed. Mary is Apollo&#8217;s widow who adopts Donnie in the first film. She&#8217;s initially unsupportive of his boxing career, but eventually she comes around to it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wood Harris\u00a0<\/strong>as Tony &#8220;Little Duke&#8221; Evers. Tony is Apollo and Rocky&#8217;s former trainer and an uncle-figure to Donnie. He eventually agrees to train Donnie in boxing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Florian Munteanu\u00a0<\/strong>as Viktor Drago. Viktor is the son of Russian prize champion boxer Captain Ivan Drago. Viktor becomes Donnie&#8217;s rival in\u00a0<em>Creed II<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jonathan Majors\u00a0<\/strong>as Damian. Damian is a new character who is Donnie&#8217;s boxing opponent in <em>Creed III<\/em>. In an interview with\u00a0<a  href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/jonathan-majors-says-punched-face-215039299.html\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener nofollow\"  ><em>Variety<\/em><\/a>, Jonathan revealed he &#8220;got punched in the face about 100 times&#8221; during filming. Jonathan revealed that there are emotional reasons behind Dame&#8217;s physical transformation. &#8220;There are certain reasons you build your body. Dame&#8217;s body was built from loss,&#8221; Jonathan told <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/fitness\/a41495793\/jonathan-majors-kang-marvel-creed-interview\/\"  rel=\"nofollow\"  target=\"_blank\"  ><em>Men&#8217;s Health<\/em><\/a>. &#8220;He had lost something, and that hole is what made him work the way he worked. When you see Dame&#8217;s body, you go, Oh, that makes sense. You don&#8217;t look like that and be happy with life.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-10\"><strong>Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson,\u00a0Spence Moore II, <\/strong>and<strong> Mila\u00a0Davis-Kent\u00a0<\/strong>have also been cast in\u00a0<em>Creed III<\/em>. Sadly,\u00a0Sylvester Stallone will not be returning as Rocky Balboa, though he&#8217;s still on the producing team.
