During the 2022 season, Michael, <strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/who-is-molly-kearney-4844471\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  >Molly Kearney<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/who-is-marcello-hernandez-4844461\/\"  data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\"  >Marcello Hernandez<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and <strong><a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/who-is-devon-walker-snl-4845345\/\"  >Devon Walker<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>were added to the <em>SNL<\/em> cast. But three years later, Devon and Michael confirmed <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/snl-cast-leaving-5436651\/\"  >their departures<\/a> from the comedy series ahead of its <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/feature\/snl-cast-season-51-5436670\/\"  >season 51<\/a> premiere.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\">&#8220;Will not be returning for a 4th season at <em>SNL<\/em>,&#8221; Michael captioned an <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DN6phpQEdAu\/?hl=en&#038;img_index=1\"  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\"  >Instagram<\/a> post. &#8220;Wish I was but, so it goes. You even put my mom on TV. Thank you doesnt begin to cover it, but thank you. Get to know the now-former <em>SNL<\/em> star here.<\/p>\n<h2>Michael is a standup comedian<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\">Michael visits comedy festivals and comedy clubs around the world to perform his stand up comedy shows.<\/p>\n<h2>Michael is from Arizona<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\">Michael was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. His 7-minute segment featured a plethora of hilarious jokes that the audience loved. He was the fifth rising comedian to be featured in the standup showcase, hosted by <strong>Mo Amer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Michael competed on a reality show before &#8216;SNL&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-8\">Michael was a contestant on the NBC competition series\u00a0<em>Bring the Funny\u00a0<\/em>which aired in 2019. Hosted by <strong>Amanda Seales<\/strong>, the show featured comedy acts performing in front of audiences to win $250,000. Michael was eliminated in Week 9 and came in 7th place. He went on to make his late-night debut on <em>CONAN\u00a0<\/em>the following year.
