Katie Couric<\/strong><\/a>, 66, truly does it all! The former TODAY<\/em><\/a> anchor is not only one of the most known news personalities, but she is also a loving mother to her adult daughters Caroline Monahan<\/strong> and Ellie Monahan<\/strong><\/a>. Katie welcomed her two beauties with her former husband<\/a>, Jay Monahan<\/strong><\/a>, who passed away from colon cancer<\/a> in 1998.<\/p>\n

Besides being a loving mom, Katie is also going to be a grandmother soon! The acclaimed anchor posted a cute clip<\/a> of her daughter Ellie telling her that she was pregnant on Sunday, December 17.\u00a0 Katie shared a cute clip of her daughter giving her a Taylor Swift-<\/strong>inspired friendship bracelet with the phrase “Granny to be” written on it. Ellie Monahan<\/h2>\n

Ellie, 31, i2 the media maven’s eldest daughter<\/a> who she gave birth<\/a> to on July 23, 1991. Her mini-me is also dedicated to a career in media just like her mom! Her Linkedin page<\/a> states that she has interned at some pretty major outlets including HBO and Glamour Magazine. She graduated from the prestigious Yale University in 2013 earning a Bachelor’s degree in American\/United States Studies\/Civilization. In 2011, Ellie even worked as a crime strategies intern for the New York County District’s Attorney’s Office. These days she spends her time as a TV writer. Her most recent success was co-writing the Emmy-nominated<\/a> show, The Boys.<\/em><\/p>\n
