He&#8217;s a rising star. (Netflix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>1.<em> The Crown<\/em> is Senan&#8217;s first role.<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\">Senan&#8217;s casting was confirmed by <a  href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/tv\/news\/the-crown-prince-william-dominic-west-son-senan-1235114068\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  ><em>Variety<\/em><\/a> back in November 2021. Senan nabbed the role after a nationwide search. His audition, which was submitted via tape by his agent, caught the attention of<em> The Crown<\/em> producers, according to the outlet. This marks his first onscreen role. <strong>Rufus Kampa<\/strong> will play an older Prince William in the upcoming season 6.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Senan&#8217;s dad also stars in <em>The Crown<\/em>.<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\">Senan&#8217;s dad, Dominic, plays <a  href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/tag\/king-charles\"  ><strong>Prince Charles<\/strong><\/a> in the show. That&#8217;s right. Father and son play father and son in <em>The Crown<\/em>. Dominic will play the role of Prince Charles for the final two seasons of the show. \u201cDo you know how lucky you are? Bloody lucky!\u201d Dominic recalled telling his son in his interview with <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.townandcountrymag.com\/leisure\/arts-and-culture\/a41870880\/dominic-west-king-prince-charles-interview-the-crown-season-5\/\"  rel=\"nofollow\"  target=\"_blank\"  ><em>Town &amp; Country<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Senan is one of Dominic&#8217;s 5 kids.<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\">Senan is one of Dominic and <strong>Catherine FitzGerald&#8217;s<\/strong> four kids. Dominic has another daughter, <strong>Martha<\/strong>, from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Dominic loved working with Senan.<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-7\">Dominic told<em> Town &amp; Country<\/em> it was &#8220;great&#8221; to have the \u201cshortcut to a sort of tactile intimacy that you have with your kids that no one else has.\u201d Senan did audition to continue playing William in season 6. He posed alongside his father, and the rest of their family was there to support them.
