While some huge awards will be given out throughout the night of the 65th Grammy Awards<\/a>, the stage is set for some epic performances from music’s biggest names. In the first round, the Recording Academy announced that Bad Bunny<\/a>, Lizzo<\/a>, Luke Combs, Mary J. Blige<\/a>, <\/strong>and more will step into the spotlight at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Fresh\u00a0off his farewell from The Daily Show<\/em>, Trevor Noah<\/strong> is back as the host and will try to keep his excitement in check while he sees all these stars perform live.<\/p>\n “What many people don’t realize is how much work goes into the performances,” Trevor told Billboard<\/a> <\/em>in December. “Getting every single key right, every lighting cue perfect, choreographing all the moves between the cameras and the artists. Seeing the artists and how much they love what they’re doing \u2014 they’ll put so much time into that three- or four-minute performance. You don’t truly appreciate it until you get behind the scenes, and I think that’s what makes me enjoy the show even more.”<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 <\/strong>leads the 2023 nominations with nine. She’s already the most nominated female performer of all time and is currently tied with her husband, Jay-Z<\/strong>, for the most nominations (88, FYI.) If Beyonc\u00e9 takes home four Grammys, she will become “the artist with the most GRAMMY wins in history<\/a>.” Kendrick Lamar <\/strong>is behind Bey with eight nominations, while Adele <\/strong>and Brandi Carlile <\/strong><\/a>come in with seven.<\/p>\n Since that first slate of announcements, more have been added to the night’s schedule of performances.
