Glen Powell<\/a><\/strong> is hitting a new peak in his Hollywood career. After breaking out on Scream Queens<\/em><\/a>, he became a full-fledged movie star with box-office hits like Top Gun: Maverick<\/em><\/a> and the rom-com smash Anyone But You<\/em><\/a>, opposite Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a>. With his rising fame has come plenty of attention on his love life, from rumored on-set chemistry with Twisters <\/em>co-star<\/a> Daisy Edgar-Jones<\/strong><\/a> (who has been dating photographer Ben Sneed<\/strong> since 2023) to his high-profile relationship with model Gigi Paris<\/strong><\/a>, who opened up about their split in a June 2025 interview.<\/p>\n

Glen and The Vampire Diaries<\/em> star Nina Dobrev<\/strong><\/a> enjoyed a short-lived romance back in 2017. News of their relationship broke when affectionate pics from a photo booth at pal Julianne Hough<\/strong><\/a>‘s lavish Idaho wedding<\/a> to Brooks\u00a0<\/strong>Laich <\/b>surfaced\u00a0in July of that year. But according to People<\/em><\/a>, they’d been dating since January of 2017.<\/p>\n

They later attended a Hollywood Foreign Press Association and\u00a0InStyle<\/em>‘s party in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Globe Awards that November, then spent Thanksgiving apart. A source told E! News<\/em><\/a> for a November 30, 2017 report that they were taking some time apart, due to Nina’s busy schedule.<\/p>\n

“She’s filming a lot,” one source said at the time, noting that there hadn’t been a definitive breakup. “There hasn’t been an official ‘split’ but Nina and Glen have been taking time apart,” they said. “Nina just wrapped on a project and is about to start another and her schedule has been a huge part of it. They haven’t been spending much time together since the end of the summer.” Another insider added that there hadn’t been major fights leading up to the break, and noted that Glen is a “very easy-going dude.”<\/p>\n

Nina and her current partner, Shaun White<\/strong><\/a>, ironically made their red-carpet debut<\/a> at the premiere of Glen’s biggest film to date, Top Gun: Maverick<\/em><\/a>, in May 2022.
