Euphoria<\/em><\/a> star Angus Cloud<\/strong><\/a>, who played Fezco on the show from 2019 to 2022, tragically passed away<\/a> at the age of 25 on July 31, 2023.\u201cIt is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,\u201d his family said in a statement to\u00a0TMZ<\/em><\/a> at the time. \u201cAs an artist, a friend, a brother<\/a> and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”<\/p>\n Addressing his severe mental health struggles<\/a>, they added, “We hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.” Angus’ family concluded, \u201cWe hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.\u201d<\/p>\n The rising star’s cause of death was not immediately revealed, although TMZ<\/em> reported that his mother called 9-1-1 on Monday, July 31, and reported a “possible overdose.”<\/a> Read on to learn about the late star’s mother and his late father, who died less than two weeks before he did.<\/p>\n When Angus was a young teenager, he fell into an approximately 10-ft. deep construction hole, breaking his skull and fingers. Amazingly, he survived and climbed his way out. He wasn’t bleeding but could tell his vision was blurry, so he took the bus to his mom’s place. “She thought I was on drugs, \u2019cause my pupils was hella dilated,” Angus told Variety<\/em> <\/a>in 2022. “I was trying to tell her what happened, but I could only start a sentence \u2014 I couldn\u2019t finish it. So I was like, \u2018I\u2019m just gonna go sleep in my bed.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n His mother didn’t think going to bed was a good idea, and she brought him to the children’s hospital. That decision saved his life. He spent five days recovering in the ICU and had skull surgery to help fuse it back together. “That\u2019s what the scar\u2019s from. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull … me back up, and that was that,” he nonchalantly explained.<\/p>\n Following her young’s tragic death in 2023, the late actor’s mother told PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> she attempted to save him after finding him dead in his room.<\/p>\n “I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor,” Lisa told the outlet. “I tried to resuscitate him \u2014 mouth to mouth \u2014 and I was compressing him. I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 9-1-1, and I just kept at it until they took him away. I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.”<\/p>\n As mentioned in his death announcement, Angus was mourning the loss of his father at the time of his own death.
