50 Cent<\/strong><\/a> (real name: Curtis Jackson) reportedly sold a docuseries about Sean “Diddy” Combs<\/strong><\/a>‘ controversies to a streaming giant. The project is expected to explore the allegations against Diddy. <\/a>Jackson has been outspoken about Combs’ legal battles, including his sex trafficking investigation and multiple sexual abuse accusations. In 2024 , the rapper’s home was raided in March, and he was recently arrested in New York on Monday, September 16, and charged with three felonies.<\/p>\n

What Is the Diddy Docuseries About?<\/h2>\n

Details have not been released yet. However, per Forbes<\/em><\/a>, the docuseries will rehash the allegations made against the rapper. From late 2023 to early 2024, disturbing claims surfaced against Diddy. After several women \u2014 including his ex Cassie Ventura<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 came forward with sexual abuse and assault allegations against Combs, he denied their statements. Moreover, he and Ventura settled her lawsuit against him shortly after she filed it in November 2023.<\/p>\n

However, after video surveillance from 2016 of Diddy physically attacking Ventura<\/a> surfaced in May 2024, the rapper publicly apologized for his actions in an Instagram video.<\/p>\n

How to Watch the Diddy Doc<\/h2>\n

50 Cent\u2019s production company, G-Unit Film & Television, is reportedly behind the documentary. Jackson had previously revealed that it was sold to Netflix, but now Investigation Discovery (ID) has announced that it will distribute the documentary.\u00a0The network will partner with Maxine Productions for its production.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from Investigation Discovery, “the multi-part docuseries will offer insight into unfolding allegations against the once untouchable superstar. It will also highlight the toxic power dynamic that played out within the industry and kept many survivors silenced \u2013 until now.”<\/p>\n

Previously, viewers were expecting to watch the Netflix doc on the streaming platform. However, now that ID is distributing it, the network has yet to indicate how viewers can stream the doc. According to TMZ<\/em><\/a>, the multi-part doc will be released “sooner than later.” The outlet also reported that “multiple networks and streaming platforms” competed to secure the rights to distribute the series.<\/p>\n

Since it’s still unclear when the docuseries will air, cast details are also unknown.<\/p>\n
