Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt will reunite for ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’<\/p>\n

Stars Meryl Streep<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Emily Blunt<\/a> <\/strong>are set to make their return at <\/span>Runway Magazine<\/span><\/i> for a<\/span> Devil Wears Prada 2<\/span><\/i> sequel, Anne Hathaway <\/a><\/strong><\/span>has yet to be confirmed. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to Variety,<\/a><\/em> the original film\u2019s screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna (\u201cCrazy Ex-Girlfriend,\u201d \u201cYour Place or Mine\u201d) is also “in talks to return to pen the next chapter.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The film that first aired in 2006 to tell the story of college student Andrea Sachs taking on an intership as an assitant to a very difficult editor. This film was a huge success as it earned the 75-year-old actress a Golden Globe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0During an interview with Variety, the 41-year-old actresses both sat down and reminisced about their time on set. \u201cWe just had a joy bomb of a time on that movie\u2026I don\u2019t know if any of us knew it was going to become what it did. It\u2019s quoted to me every week. It will be the movie that changed my life,\u201d the <\/span>Oppenheimer<\/span><\/i> star shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Anne and Emily had fun on set, they recalled that the <\/span>Mamma Mia <\/span><\/i>star was very professional with her role and did not take part in the fun. \u201cI think she always wanted to join in the fun and she kept herself so in character,\u201d expressed the <\/span>Princess Diaries <\/span><\/i>actress. \u201cShe\u2019s never done method acting since, she said it made her so miserable on this one \u2018cause we were all having a party on the other side of the set and she was like \u2018I won\u2019t do this again\u2019.\u201d the <\/span>Quiet Place<\/span><\/i> protagonist chimed in.<\/span><\/p>\n

As per <\/span>Puck<\/span><\/i><\/a>, they reported that Disney is working on the second film.<\/span><\/p>\n

DWP has been a movie that till this day the trio has been proud to see that many generations still watch. In an interview with<\/span> Vanity Fair<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span>The Idea of You <\/span><\/i>actress shared, \u201cYeah I did, I did. Not as huge as it\u2019s become but it had a magnetic quality to me, that I had to be part of it. Not this though, not the way that it\u2019s just sort of woven into the culture now, and it\u2019s become such a touchstone for so many people. I didn\u2019t realize it was gonna have such a lasting impression, so I didn\u2019t realize it was gonna leave such a legacy.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
