According to<a  href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt20969586\/\"  target=\"_blank\"  > IMDb<\/a>, the movie follows &#8220;a group of supervillains recruited to go on missions for the government.&#8221; Originally scheduled for release in July 2024, <em>Thunderbolts*<\/em>\u00a0was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, and is now expected to hit theaters in May 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-2\">Several Hollywood stars and familiar MCU characters are set to return. The 28-year-old will reprise her role as the anti-hero in <em>Thunderbolts*<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\">In a 2024 interview with <a  href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/florence-pugh-thunderbolts-marvel-comic-con-2024-exclusive-8684899\"  target=\"_blank\"  ><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People<\/span><\/i><\/a> at San Diego Comic-Con, Pugh hinted at the film:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI feel like this is something that we&#8217;ve never seen before from Marvel\u2026I feel like it&#8217;s a very open and honest and truthful idea.
