Hosted by TV personality and comedian Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a>. the Oscars are set for March 2, 2025. <\/span>According to <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Conan stated, “America demanded it and now it\u2019s happening: Taco Bell\u2019s new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I\u2019m hosting the Oscars.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Academy Awards will announce the nominations on Friday, January 17, 2025.\u00a0<\/span>The 97th annual event will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, beginning at 7:00 PM EST at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the Golden Globe Awards, the Critics Choice Awards, the BAFTAs and the SAG Awards, multiple outlets and film enthusiasts couldn’t come to a unified conclusion on who could win Best Picture at the Oscars. Variety<\/em> and Entertainment Weekly<\/em> predict that Anora<\/em> has the highest chance of taking home the award.<\/p>\n

Who Won Best Picture at the 2025 Golden Globes?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Brutalist<\/span><\/em><\/a> won Best Motion Picture \u2013 Drama at the 2025 Golden Globes. During his acceptance speech, director Brady Corbet<\/strong> shared, according to AP News<\/span><\/i><\/a>,<\/span><\/i>\u00a0“I was told that this film was un-distributable.” He added, “No one was asking for a three-and-half-hour film about a mid-century designer in 70mm. But it works.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the cast of <\/span>Emilia Perez<\/span><\/em> celebrated their win for Best Motion Picture \u2013 Musical or Comedy.<\/span><\/p>\n
