As summer is officially coming to an end and we try and keep up with all the new shows we need to watch including X Factor and Killing Eve let's not forget about the good old classics such as The Apprentice.
The business show has now officially returned to take us all the way to Christmas with the gruelling challenges of bartering, cringey adverts and business plan interviews. So when exactly is the show on, what are the tasks and who is joining Lord Sugar on the board?
What is The Apprentice about?
The Apprentice is a reality show on BBC One in which Lord Sugar - billionaire business mogul worth £1.4bn - attempts to find a business partner he can invest £250,000 in. He sets tough challenges to highlight skills on negotiation, selling, advertising and creativity before choosing the candidate with the total package at the end of the series to go into business with. Although last year, Lord Sugar made history choosing two business partners .

When is The Apprentice back on TV?
The Apprentice started on BBC One on October 3 at 9pm for its fourteenth series. It will air for a total of 12 episodes with the usual spin-off episodes including Meet The Candidates and The Final Five.
Lord Sugar broke the news on his official Twitter account.
He also shared a joke letter claiming to be from his nemesis Piers Morgan along with some 'official' merchandise.
2018 will be the show's 14th season - with the BBC also commissioning a 15th and 16th series.
Who are the candidates?
The candidates have now been officially revealed and the line-up is a mixed bunch from a biscuit heir to a wannabe Wolf of Wall Street.

Week One - Malta
For the first task, Lord Sugar wanted to see the negotiation skills of the sixteen candidates and flies them off on a surprise trip to Malta.
It’s the buying task, so the hopefuls must buy nine Maltese items including sea salt and a model boat for the lowest possible prices before reuniting back at the airport.
Sarah Bryne was the first one to be fired.
Week Two - Comics
In the second week, the candidates created a comic aimed at children and pitched the idea to leading figures in the industry to secure orders.
Candidates needed to demonstrate skills of creativity, productive pitching and team work.

Week Three - Doughnuts
Lord Sugar tasked the candidates with manufacturing and selling doughnuts to a corporate client and the public. One half of each team fathomed out flavours, while the others set off to bag a bespoke order from a corporate client.

Week Four - Body Building Expo
Lord Sugar summons the candidates to London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall where he sets them the challenge of selling at one of the world’s largest bodybuilding expos.
Based at the NEC in Birmingham, the teams must tempt beefed up bodybuilders to part with their cash in exchange for high end products and services aimed at fitness fans.
Who is joining Lord Sugar as his advisors?
Whilst Lord Sugar is way too important and busy to be following amateur business moguls around completing challenges he hires his trusted aides as his eyes and ears.
West Ham's CEO and businesswoman Karren Brady will be watching Lord Sugar's aspiring business partners make a fool of themselves along with Claude Littner, business executive who joined the panel in 2015 to replace Nick Hewer.
The Apprentice will return every Wednesday night from 3rd October 2018 on BBC One.
