Benedict Cumberbatch's shock transformation in first look at new Brexit movie

Benedict Cumberbatch is as far from his usual sexy self as any could imagine as he turns into Leave campaigner Dominic Cummings

Benedict Cumberbatch has a shocking transformation in a first look at tonight's film Brexit : The Uncivil War.

The actor, known for being a "weird crush" for many may take that title even further as he donned a bald cap and played Dominic Cummings, the man who ran the Vote Leave campaign and was responsible for THAT NHS bus.

He is unrecognisable as he is seen jumping around in a fleece and gilet, as well as almost combat trousers, with his bald head poking through the hair surrounding the sides of his head.

In the first look Dominic takes his two poliitical colleagues, Michael Gove and Boris Johnson, as played by Oliver Maltman and Richard Goulding, to see their new campaign bus which he believes is sure to see them win in the fight against remaining in the EU.

The bus is arriving as a fanfare of rapturous classical music explodes over the scene, and Dominic is jumping up and down sporting a rather unsightly fleece and gilet combo.

As it arrives, Boris and Michael seem concerned by the use of the "actual NHS logo" on the bus, which became infamous for promising that £300million would be put back into the economy if we left the EU.

Dominic is bouncing up and down with roguish glee as the bus pulls up to reveal the slogan, as he says: "Yes the NHS, with the ecomony, with control. That's the actual NHS logo.

"Imagine their faces, I mean if Jeremy [Hunt, then Health Secretary] wants to come down and peel the label off, he's more than welcome.
