Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw to host new Channel 4 show The Great Home Transformation

Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw will host a new show on Channel 4 which sees them transform family homes around the country in just three days

Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw are teaming up to host a new home makeover show on Channel 4.

The six-part series will follow the ex-Big Brother presenter and former Radio One host as they transform family homes around the country in just three days.

Called The Great Home Transformation, the show will see Emma and Nick will turn up in a ‘life-changing truck’ to help families whose homes are ‘working against them’.

Inside the truck is an immersive mobile mood board where the family will be able to experience their cleverly designed new home before the changes are made.

Most of the work is set to be done by Emma and Nick themselves with the help of an expert team.

Viewers will see unexpected room reveals for one family member in every episode when the series airs in spring.

In partnership with IKEA, The Great Home Transformation aims to show viewers how simple and easy it is to radically change your home through smart, yet accessible design.

Both Emma and Nick shared their excitement at working on the new project on their social media accounts.

It is Nick’s first presenting gig since he quit Radio One last summer following 14 years at the radio station.

“Isn’t that right @nicholasgrimshaw?! The #GreatHomeTransformation is coming soon to @channel4.”

The makeovers won’t include any structural changes but will show how easy it is to change the look of your home just by clever design.

Clemency Green, Senior Commissioning Editor for Features & Daytime at Channel 4 said: “The Great Home Transformation will take interiors intelligence to the next level as six families get an amazing chance to turn their homes into incredible spaces, which not only look beautiful, but really meet their individual needs.

"I’m delighted that the dream team of Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw are joining us for the ride.”
