Explosive Shipwrecked preview reveals epic tribal battle for survival
The new islanders will "call for hotties" to try and beat their rivals for survival in the revamped series of Shipwrecked on E4
Shipwrecked is set to be explosive as they call for "hotties" to help them survive.
The show, which is returning to E4 after seven years in the wilderness, will see two teams battle it out for survival on the island of Aitutaki, one of the Cook Islands.
The original series had two different formats - the first was almost a Big Brother-style show set on an island, where the gorup were individuals who were trying their best to survive in a really tricky situation.
The show was then revamped when the Battle of the Islands format started, which saw two teams battle one another for survival, competing as rival tribes to try and win a prize of £100,000.

It continued as this until its last series in 2012 which returned to the original format as a "back to basics" edition.
But the new trailer has shown that the programme will return to its "battle of the islands" format, as two rival groups compete for the prize money.
In a first look at the trailer for the new show, groups of islanders are sporting some wrecked-over clothing as they compete to survive the longest, showing off their resources and ending in a glorious rap battle.
In the trailer, two people come face to face in a tense moment, before their tribe members come to join them after being summoned with a shell horn, with war paint and sticks at the ready for a major battle.

But then the groups show off what they have to beat the others, with everything from a lobster dinner, to bottle of water, to an entire fridge of goodies at their disposal, apparently.
Their blue and orange tribal flags are then planted in the sand as they engage in a dance-off with some epic flossing and people-lifting in the air.
Then, a Castaway-inspired man appears from the bushes and asks: "How long have they been there?" after the tagline of "Survival but not as you know it" appeared on screen.
It is then shown that they called for "hotties" rather than help, meaning there may be a Love Island twist to this year's series.

The original show brought Sarah-Jane Crawford, Jeff Brazier and Stephen Bear to the screen, and this year it will be narrated/presented by Strictly's Vick Hope.
Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands will return to E4 in 2019.
