I'm A Celebrity exit 'sealed' hours before elimination - and it's 'not Matt Hancock'

I'm A Celebrity 2022 viewers think they know who will leave the show first on Friday night, after hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly announced the first elimination of the series.

Viewers are desperate to see disgraced Tory MP Matt Hancock leave the jungle, but others have predicted it will be someone else to go first.

During Thursday night's episode, presenter Dec announced: "Right, the big news is that tomorrow night, one of them will be heading for home.

"So, for the first time this series, you're voting to keep your favourites in the camp. The person with the fewest votes will leave tomorrow and that vote is now open."

Following the news someone will be leaving in the next visit to the jungle, viewers shared who they believe will be booted out first.

Asides Hancock, some viewers have been left infuriated by Boy George's antics in the jungle - while Charlene White and Chris Moyles have also faced criticism from some.

Now, viewers are convinced it won't be Hancock who goes first on Friday night, questioning if people will vote for someone else instead.

One viewer said: "Please can we all collectively agree we're getting rid of George first!" as a second said: "Think it'll be Boy George or Chris Moyles."

A third fan wrote: "I hope Boy George is first to go tomorrow," and a fourth commented: "Mike to win & George to be 1st out."

Others shared their dismay that Hancock might not be eliminated, and might even remain on the show until the final.

One fan wrote: "I can’t believe I can’t immediately say with 100% certainty, no where nearrrrr that, that the British public will vote Matt out first. SAD."

A second wrote: "Don't think Matt Hancock will be first out," as a third agreed: "What if Matt Hancock wins?"

A TV source confirmed The Mirror earlier this week that evictions were planned to start from Friday, with an extended show in the schedules.

It's believed Friday's instalment will be on air for 95 mins, making it the longest show since the series launched on November 6

The source said at the time: "Things can change quickly in camp, especially if someone was to quit, but at the moment we look all set for evictions to begin from Friday.

"Currently Charlene, Scarlette and Matt are the favourites to go with bookmakers. If there is a second eviction over the weekend it means there would be two chances for viewers to get Hancock out this week.

"So much has been made of him wanting to look human and how he told the group in camp that he wants our forgiveness. We will find out soon if some people forgive him AND if they are willing to vote to save him and keep his jungle journey going."

I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITV X.
