If you thought the Yellowstone universe couldn’t get any bigger, think again. Dutton Ranch, the Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler-led sequel series, has become one of Paramount+’s biggest hits after a record-breaking first season. Ahead of the Season 1 finale, the streaming service has already renewed the series for Season 2, ensuring there’s much more story to tell.
The show follows Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) as they set out for a new life in Texas, but the past comes back to haunt them as they face a rival ranch that will do anything to defend itself.

Will There Be a Season 2 of Dutton Ranch?
Yes! As previously noted, Paramount renewed Dutton Ranch for a second season. Jane Wiseman, head of originals for Paramount+, said in a statement said in a statement, “Beth and Rip are among the most iconic duos in television history and we are thrilled to bring a whole new world to life with Dutton Ranch for our subscribers around the world. We’re also incredibly grateful to our partners, including the teams at Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, for bringing this new series to life with such grit, heart and authenticity.”
Matt Thunell, the president of Paramount Television Studios, added, “Dutton Ranch has resonated with audiences in a powerful way, building on the legacy of beloved characters, while establishing its own identity. … We look forward to bringing fans more stories from these unforgettable characters in season 2.”
When Does Dutton Ranch Season 2 Come Out?
At the time of publication, the season 2 premiere date is still TBA. Production has yet to commence, and season 1 is nearing it finale episode.
Who Will Be in the Dutton Ranch Cast for Season 2?
Presumably, the main cast of Dutton Ranch will reprise their roles in season 2, beginning with Hauser and Reilly. The show is anchored by supporting actors Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Natalie Alyn Lind and several others.
While the cast should remain the same, in part, there has already been a crew change. Showrunner Chad Feehan abruptly exited the series before the second season was confirmed.
It’s unclear why Feehan left the project.
