Taylor and Travis are expected to exchange vows sometime on Friday, July 3, multiple outlets have now reported. Initially, reports emerged about a 4th of July weekend ceremony, but it now seems that July 3 is the secured date the couple will tie the knot.
However, neither Taylor nor Travis has publicly confirmed the reports.
Is Taylor Swift Getting Married at MSG in NYC?
Despite being one of the most conspicuous places to hold an event, especially a wedding, Taylor and Travis are expected to get married at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, according to numerous outlets.
Variety and The New York Times reported that NYPD has been briefed on potentially large crowds packed with Swifties and paparazzi craning to get a peak at America’s version of a royal wedding. According to two cops who chose to remain anonymous, the NYPD has been chatting about Taylor’s wedding as of late, per Variety.
The NYT further reported that Taylor and Travis have rented the arena for a multi-day event.
Such a star-studded event like this one is bound to require road closures along some of NYC’s busiest avenues. The city just wrapped up its celebrations for the Knicks’ victory over the Spurs during the NBA Finals, which Taylor showed up for one night.

There are no legal documents proving that Taylor and Travis are legally married yet. Some couples wait until the day before their ceremony to obtain the docs, while others do it weeks in advance.

As expected, most of Taylor and Travis’ close friends and family members will attend the ceremony and reception. According to Page Six, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomezand Benny Blanco, Cara Delevingne and the Haim Sisters will be there to support the happy couple.
Around 1,000 guests are reportedly expected to show up for the multi-day event.
