Kendall Jenner Is Almost Unrecognizable at the Met Gala

Monday night's Met Gala delivered a few surprising beauty moments and an eyebrow transformation that left Kendall Jenner almost unrecognizable. On May 2, Jenner attended the costume institute's "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" spectacle alongside her family, including Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian. Jenner arrived at the event in a sheer crop-top and a voluminous, ruffled skirt by Prada, but the highlight of her look for the evening was a set of bleach-blond eyebrows, a subtle nod to the high forehead trend of the Middle Ages.

To achieve her 1400s socialite aesthetic, Jenner's makeup artist, Mary Phillips, used Kylie Cosmetics products, beginning with a layer of Kylie Skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($28), Face Moisturizer ($24), Eye Cream ($20), Lip Oil ($22), and Rose Body Lotion ($17). Continuing the look, Phillips gave Jenner a bold eye using shades "Tell Me More" and "Mocha Latte" from The Bronze Palette (a new product coming May 11), the Kyliner Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner Pen ($18) in "Black," and the Gel Eyeliner Pencil ($15) in "Matte Dark Brown."

For Jenner's face, Phillips also used the Setting Powder ($24) in the "Translucent" shade, the Blush & Highlighter Cheek Quad ($40), the Pressed Bronzing Powder ($18) in "Tequila Tan," the Pressed Blush Powder ($18) in "Pink Dreams," the Kylighter Illuminating Powder ($24) in "Cheers Darling," the Lip Liner ($17) in "Bare," and the Lip Shine Lacquer ($18) in "Felt Cute" and "You're Cute Jeans." To finish the look and accentuate Jenner's new brows, Phillips touched up her face with a little bit of the Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow Gel ($18).

The model also wore her auburn hair, styled by Jen Atkin using OUAI products, in long, flowing waves with her classic middle part. Following the gala, Jenner dyed her eyebrows a dark brown to attend the afterparty.
