Forget Chief of Police — David Harbour Is Trying to Become the King of Twitter

Stranger Things star David Harbour might play the chief of police in the series, but he's officially king of Twitter in real life. After one fan asked a favor in exchange for a certain number of retweets, David has apparently made it his mission to accomplish everything from household chores to major bucket list items via Twitter exchanges. The results are hilarious; people tweet at David to ask his "price" for specific actions, leading to a bizarre retweet economy on the actor's social media page.

And now the actor's hilarious system is working the other way, too — David has a lofty Twitter goal to achieve in order to visit (and do his iconic "Hopper Dance" with) emperor penguins in Antarctica. Considering how quickly David's fans have helped others achieve their Twitter-related goals so far, we're sure he'll see success in no time.

Follow the timeline of David's intriguing Twitter strategy here, then be sure to retweet and help him dance with feathered friends!

It all started when David agreed to officiate a wedding for 125K retweets.

In less than a day, the goal had been met; now David has to get ordained for the ceremony.

He then agreed to change somebody's cat litter for 225K.

And he didn't even demand retweets to support a couple's bid for prom court.

Hell, he only required 525K to commit to a national heist.

So when he wanted something fun — to hang out with penguins — David asked for a Twitter goal to strive for.

With a goal of 200K, it seems that he's well on his way to party with penguins!
