The Unauthorized Ikea Soap Opera Is About to Be Your New Obsession

Melrose Place, Dawson's Creek, and now Ikea Heights; our go-to retailer for stylish and affordable Scandinavian furniture is the center of melodrama and hijinks in a mock soap opera that every Ikea fan will appreciate. The five-minute episodes, created for a short film festival, are set at Ikea and filmed guerilla-style in the store's Burbank, CA, location without the franchise's knowledge. Luckily, the store seems to have a sense of humor about the whole thing – but it insists that authorization is required to film in stores.
