"I really want to be one of those people who can sleep in luxurious linen sheets — and I tried for years. Even though linen is supposed to be good for hot sleepers, it proved to be the opposite for me. I would always wake up drenched, with the sheets bunched up around me. So in recent years, I've turned to percale, which is usually what you'll find on the beds of luxury hotels. The markers of percale are cool and crisp, which are ideal for people like me who run hot but still want to be cozy.

I've been using the Parachute percale set for a while now (which are pretty pricey) so I was excited to give the more affordable Quince version a try. When compared to the Parachute sheets, I've found that Quince is more on the crisp side — Parachute is slightly softer, while Quince is more sleek. This isn't a bad thing! I've been sleeping on the Quince percale sheets and under the percale duvet cover for a few weeks and can confirm that I stay cool as a cuke, even in the Los Angeles summer heat. Also, since I prefer white bedding, it makes it easy to tell if you've been sweating — no yellow marks or bunching in sight.

My one gripe about this set is that the fitted sheet measurements seem to be slightly off for the full size. It seems like the full is more of a queen, so I really have to tuck the edges under my mattress. "I'm obsessed with textural bedrooms in muted tones, and linen is one of my favorite fabrics to use. For bedding, it offers that luxe but laid-back, perfectly imperfect vibe — wrinkles just add to the textured goodness.
