The Incredible Wedding Inspired by Doctor Who

We're not afraid to admit that our obsession with BBC's classic sci-fi series Doctor Who is very real. But one couple, Michael and Heidi, took their Whovian love to a whole new level. Their wedding was decked out in head-to-toe Who (literally, look at those shoes). The couple's photographer, Megan Allen, was floored: "I was immediately immersed in a Dr. Who world, filled with Dalek and Weeping Angel table toppers, Cyberman head fans, a K-9 guarding their gift table, and wine themed to the show."

Clearly Michael and Heidi were not kidding around. There was a life-size DIYed TARDIS behind the altar that the groom himself had made. It even lit up! He also had a sonic screwdriver and a bow tie on hand, as a fitting tribute to our favorite Doctor, Eleven.

And then there was the cake. It was a Dalek-themed, and there were even custom bride-and-groom Dalek toppers, one with a top hat and the other with a veil! Gigi's Cupcakes made it, and they did a fine job turning something so evil into a beautiful, delectable dessert.
