Heck Yes! A Hunger Games Theme Park Is Coming to the US

Ever been to Atlanta? If not, you're about to book your flight. The peach state's upcoming Avatron Park, a digital theme park with holograms and augmented reality, will include attractions from The Hunger Games. Set to open in 2019, the $625 million park will allow fans to experience similar adventures as Katniss, Peeta, and the gang — (hopefully) minus the bloodbath. Although rides are still in the developmental stages, fans can get an idea of what to expect from the Motiongate park in Dubai, which will also include a Hunger Games area in 2016. According to the New York Times, the Middle Eastern park will feature a re-creation of District 12 and its black market, The Hob; a real Peeta's bakery (anyone down to re-create that heartwarming flashback?); a roller coaster that takes after the Capitol's train; and a simulated hovercraft tour of Panem.

Dystopia may be far down the line for Atlanta, but once 2019 rolls around, we'd most definitely volunteer as tribute. From the looks of it, it's going to be Disneyland's dark and grim sibling. (Sweet!)
