These Photos Shows Just How Much We All Lie on Instagram

It's no secret just how much Instagram photos are curated, edited, and set up to create a perfect illusion of our lives. Plenty of Instagram accounts have gone viral because they make fun of this lifestyle, but very few try to show just how much work goes into making up this illusion.

One Thailand-based photographer, Chompoo Baritone, is doing just that on Facebook by capturing the entire scene of what an Instagram photo looks like outside of the app in her project called "Slow Life." It's not terrible that we all try to make our lives look a little more interesting on Instagram — it can almost make us feel a little better about our days and the life we want to live. So although we might not want to show just how messy our actual lives are, it's nice to be reminded that we're all doing the same thing on social media. Check out the photos ahead.
