The Cosplay of New York Comic-Con Was So Good

New York Comic-Con proved this weekend that the finest cosplay creations aren't just found on the West Coast. The event drew a record-breaking 150,000 attendees, considerably more than the 130,000-plus attendees in San Diego last July for Comic-Con.

After San Diego Comic-Con attendees fought back against sexual harassment, NYCC posted large "Cosplay Is Not Consent" signs reminding fans to ask before taking photos that appeared throughout the hall to help keep the convention a safe place for attendees to express themselves and their fandoms through cosplay.
