The Multitasking Washing Machine of the Future

It's a fact: no one likes doing laundry. The sorting, the loading, the folding . . . all of it is pretty unpleasant, but on Monday at CES, Samsung claimed that its new high-tech washing machine offers relief from the most painstaking task: pretreating. Say hello to the washing machine we can't believe no one has invented yet, the Samsung Active Wash. It's a time-saving multitasker with a sink built into the top lid. There's a water jet and a scrubbing surface for easy pretreatment of a pasta-soiled blouse or mud-ridden jeans. Then all you do is lift up the sink bowl and the items go straight into the wash. It's such a simple, obvious solution. How is this not a thing yet?! Other innovations include SuperSpeed technology that reduces laundry time down to as little as 36 minutes. Samsung announced that the Active Wash will be available in Spring 2015. Looking to make your home smarter? Check out the high-tech appliances below!
