Facebook Is Telling Everyone They're Dead, but Don't Panic

Update: This message is no longer appearing on people's profiles. A Facebook spokesperson explained to us in an emailed statement what happened: "For a brief period today, a message meant for memorialized profiles was mistakenly posted to other accounts. This was a terrible error that we have now fixed. We are very sorry that this happened and we worked as quickly as possible to fix it."
Original story: If you logged onto Facebook and saw a notification that you passed away, don't freak out. Obviously, if you're reading the notice, you're not dead. It's unclear what's happening other than a bug telling everyone that they're dead. An example of what it looks like is below.

The message is popping up on numerous people's profiles.
In the meantime though APPARENTLY FACEBOOK THINKS I'M DEAD. pic.twitter.com/F0JMSJEEwJ
